About
Irina Goryacheva (also known as Heather Hermit) is a graphic designer, art director and visual artist. She is currently working as a Graphic Design Expert for the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo, Egypt.

First she graduated in Arabic Philology from Moscow State University and later in Graphic Design from Moscow Institute of Industrial and Applied Arts.
Irina has extensive experience as a communication graphic designer and art director in such diverse disciplines as print, typography, corporate and exhibition design for a range of large cultural institutions. Irina has been highly awarded for her work, both nationally and internationally, among the most important awards are four Red Dots in Communication design (2011, 2012, 2013, 2015).

Irina is passionate about modernism, colorful geometric shapes, typography and collage. She is inspired by the visionaries of the Weimar Era, experimental music and cinema of the 1920s and 1930s, ornithology, the phenomena of mass culture, space flights, airships and three-storey sandwiches.

She loves folding, burning midnight oil, heavy rains, orthodox darjeeling and rather gloomy music. Irina is currently working as a communication designer and art director in such diverse disciplines as print, typography, corporate and exhibition design for a range of cultural institutions. She hopes someday she would have enough time to devote herself to her real vocation – star charming and painting.
